That's some good sleepin'

Up until the last 3 days or so Jayden has been good about sleeping in her pack and play or in her swing during the day. The last few days as soon as I put her down the wakes up and cries and won't go back to sleep until I pick her up and nurse her again. Even if she just finished nursing 15 minutes before. Then she will nurse for a few minutes and fall asleep. I put her down and the cycle continues. arrrr it's driving me crazy. I'm afraid she is going to want to be held nonstop and that really isn't possible. I really would love to but when she gets bigger I won't be able to carry her all day because of my back. So it's a habit I don't want to start. And Trevor gets jealous when I'm holding her all the time.

She sleeps well at night IF I swaddle her. So today I swaddled her during the day and she's back to sleeping good. So she seems to like being swaddled but part of me hates to have her confined all the time like that. LOL, kinda like someone said before about it being a baby straightjacket. I don't know if that makes any sense at all. I just hate that I have her swaddled all night and a good chunk of the day too. I'm feeling better about though since someone shared this link with me today. The video clip shows a way of swaddling I hadn't seen or thought of. It might be good to try with a guazy fabric when the weather gets too warm for the blanket.

BTW... I love the miracle blanket and apparently she does too. :o) She slept for 4 hours straight this afternoon swaddled and in her swing. I noticed she was sleeping so soundly she had bubbles! The miracle blanket was the only thing that allowed Trevor to sleep soundly. And lately it's working wonders for her too.
