Oh what a happy day!

Trevor was in a wonderful mood today. Well just until now when I sit down to type how wonderful he has been all day. I suppose all good things must come to an end. He's ready for bed and still can't go to sleep on his own. He must be nursed, rocked, or cuddled. His favorite though is to be snuggled up in our bed. Yes... he still sleeps in the bed with us. Our attempts at getting him into his own bed have been unsuccessful.

So this entry will have to be brief as I have a fussy squirmy baby in my arms. He was smiley and chattering away all day and only took just a very short nap. Today everything tickled his funny bone. We went shopping at Target, Toys-r-Us and Walmart. He babbled and squealed the whole time we were at Walmart and even talked briefly with Lana at Target once he realized that she was nice. He's just barely starting to be a little more wary of strangers.

Yesterday we went to Grandpa G's and stopped by Grandma B's on the way home. Trevor really enjoyed himself and only napped for 1 broken hour in the car. At Grandma B's he reached out for Tom. That was the first time he obviously reached for someone. He still barely reaches out for me or daddy... so that was surprising.

He's growing like a weed... at his 6 month check-up last week he weighed in at 19 pounds 8 ounces and was nearly 27 inches long. He's outgrown his infant car seat so we had to buy a new one. He has also pretty much grown out of most of his 6-9 month clothes. So, we will have to be shopping for some new clothes soon.

He's eating like a pig and loves pretty much everything you put in front of him! Hence the weight gain. He's very mobile as well and gets up on his hands and knees so crawling isn't too far off. He's getting into everything now and his feelings get hurt when you tell him no!

Well... typed more than I thought I would so I guess I better get the little one to bed!
