So I'm upstairs at 10:30 gathering laundry and getting the kiddos ready for bed and I hear LOUD music. Mostly base. It is a constant annoyance with our next door neighbors.* I was instantly pissed off and told I Trav if the noise wasn't stopped before 11pm I was calling the cops. I was fuming. This happens about once a week at least and I'd had enough. I've only called the cops once because of another neighbor who left their dog tied outside all day and it barked nonstop.
I went outside to see how loud it was out there. To my suprise the noise was not coming from their house. Nor was it the usual gansta rap they usually subject us too. It seemed it was coming from a house across the alley. Which would have made their stereo like super loud! I was hearing "Bang Your Head." I came back in and told Travis that it wasn't them. He came out and laughed at me when he heard. He said I was listening to a concert for "Name-of-my-town-here Days" and that none other than Quiet Riot was playing. I had forgotten that the event was this weekend. I didn't know that Quiet Riot was performing. LOL, it's kinda funny that I was going to call the cops on Quiet Riot! I'm sure that's NEVER happened before. Ha ha
*Well they're not exactly next door. We are the second house from the corner and our yard goes all the way to the alley. We have probably the biggest yard in a 6 block radius. On the street perpendicular to ours are four really crappy houses that sit up against our side yard. These houses have NO yard and are all rentals. These houses sit on total property that is a little more than half of the size of our yard. First thing we did when we bought the house was put up a six foot privacy fence. I wish it was 8 foot!
