Trevor has been extremely cranky and defiant today. It was a struggle to get him to eat and put his toys away before bed. Before going up to bed Travis was trying to get him to say I love you, or rather "I U" in Trevor-speak. He always does this and says it happily in a sing song voice. Travis asked, "Do you love Mommy?" He said, "Ummmm no." Travis asked, "Do you love Daddy?" He said, "Ummmm no." Travis asked, "Do you love your sister?" He looked in at Jayden and said, "Ummm no." Travis asked, "Who do you love?" And Trevor said, "Me!"
Travis and I were a bit dumbfounded as we didn't quite expect that as an answer and he's never referred to himself as me before. The "ummm no" stuff was no big deal as that's pretty much what you get half the time when you ask him most anything. LOL, I wonder if he actually knows what he said.
