10 months

Jayden has been super quick with her army crawl and for about 3 weeks has been crawling on her knees rather than her tummy but she'd go just a few "steps" and then would take off in the army crawl. She know crawls on all fours pretty much all the time. She's pretty quick too.

She pulls up on everything and cruises the furniture. She even stands against the wall with nothing but the wall to grab on to. She likes to look out the window and tries to get into the mini blinds. She stands with little effort now even just holding onto our pant legs. When we hold both of her hands she will take steps with prompting. Walking is still a little ways off I think.

She is a smiley baby and happy as long as she is the center of attention. Though she is starting to get a little better at playing independently. We don't have to work quite so hard to get her to giggle anymore but she doesn't giggle spontaneously like Trevor did. For that reason I really treasure her laughter. Pretty much what makes her giggle is tickling her and sometimes a funny face or dancing around. She doesn't giggle watching videos or at funny sounds. Though she will definitely grin and babble when she sees humor in something. When she's excited or super happy she squeals with delight. :o) I love it when she does that.

When she's upset man can she wail! Her cry becomes panicked almost instantly. It's so hard for me to hear her cry and it creates big time anxiety for both Travis and I because it's not just crying, it's almost terror in her tone. :o( We call her a "drama queen" LOL, she still pouts out her lower lip when she's about ready to wail or if you hurt her feelings. She startles somewhat easily and when she is startled of course she pouts that lip. She's pretty tough though, she's fallen and conked her head a few times and not shed a tear.

She's still loves to nurse and definitely prefers mama. If she's tired or cranky and knows I'm home she only wants me. It frustrates Travis sometimes. I'm sure she'll grow past that and someday she'll be a daddy's girl.
