Through my sadness today Trevor managed to make my smile in how he found humor in the smallest things.
Things that made him laugh today:
* Watching out the window and watching either squirrels play or the leaves dance, I'm not sure which.
* When I was feeding him breakfast and drumming my fingers on his tray. He laughed and did the same.
* We went out for dinner at Perkins tonight and there was a lady with 4 really bratty kids acting up. Trevor laughed hysterically at them. Maybe he thought they were acting like monkeys. (we told him, "if you ever act like that, you won't ever go a public place to eat!"
* Playing ball with a big huge inflated ball that he loves. He thinks it's really funny when we bounce it off of his head.
* Dancing around the room with daddy. He loves to dance and sing! Especially when we pick him up and dance and sing with him in our arms.
* He has this little book that has holes in the pages, it's a texture book. He loves to look at that book. He was laying on his back looking at the pages and I stuck my fingers through the hole. He thought that was pretty funny. He thought it was even funnier when I tickled him through the hole in the book.
* He goes crazy when Travis bounces up and down on his computer chair like a crazy man. The chair is really old and squeaky. Trevor will laugh so hard he can't stand up. This can go on for at least 15 minutes. He'll walk away and then come back laughing and bouncing up and down as if to say, "do it again!" Trav will start bouncing and it starts all over.
*He has this funny little habit of sometimes crawling around the floor with his head down. He will crawl that way till something blocks his path, laughs, then goes off in another direction. It's really funny. I've tried to get it on camera or video but of course everytime I pull out either, he stops and wants to grab the camera.
I'm thankfull I had my baby boy to make me smile today!
