For awhile now Trevor likes it when we play peek-a-boo. Until today he has only been a passive participant. This evening when I was nursing him he was getting all squirmy and hiding his face by turning into my tummy, then looking up at me and smiling. At first I couldn't figure out what he was doing. By chance I said peek-a-boo when he did it and he burst into giggles. Every time he did it I said peek-a-boo and he laughed and then turned his head back into me after I said it. If I didn't say peek-a-boo he kept looking at me and smiling until I said it. If I wasn't looking at him he would gurgle and babble until I did and then the game started again.
Then this evening, when Trevor was sitting on the couch watching cartoons, Travis walked into the living room and Trevor smiled and turned his head into the couch. Travis thought Trevor was being rude and ignoring him until I walked up to him later and he did the same thing. Then he looked back at me and smiled then turned into the couch again. When he looked at me again I said peek-a-boo and he giggled and played the game some more. It was soooo cute!
