And so begins my commitment to taking at least 1 picture every day this year. Some pictures will be nonsense, maybe a picture of what I had for dinner, price on the gas pump, a grocery receipt, etc. The purpose is to document our daily life, which sometimes is boring.
Day 1 - Sunday 12.28.09 - Trevor didn't take a nap today and came back downstairs. We had some cuddle time on the floor in the playroom. He really enjoyed the undivided attention.
Day 2 - Monday 12.29.08 - A very unflattering portrait of me taken by Trevor. It was the first time he's ever taken a picture. Normally he's not allowed to touch my camera. I wasn't feeling too great.
Day 3 - Tuesday 12.30.08 - I couldn't choose just one picture. Trevor coughed all night and was really sick in the morning. I was feeling a little better. We had my mom and brothers over for a late Christmas dinner. It was postponed from Christmas Eve due to snowy weather that prevent them from driving the two hours.
Day 4 - Wednesday 12.31.08 - Trevor is still sick and I ponder if I should take him to the doctor. He's been coughing and having asthma like symptoms. Thankfully we have a nebulizer that seems to help with his breathing. Jayden is now coughing too.
Day 5 - Thursday 1.1.09 - Happy New Year! I'm thankful to have a holiday. My store is closed. I had to go in for awhile to get some things caught up in the lab. It's been a really busy week at work. Secretly, I'm a little happy to have a break from sick, cranky kids.
Day 6 - Friday 1.2.09 - Work is driving me to drink. We've done double the business that we do in a normal week and we still two days short of a normal business week. And people were CRANKY. It was by far the worst day since we opened our doors in February. I don't drink often and if I do, it's usually just a glass of wine. Smirnoff was calling my name, as was a yummy raspberry bar.
Day 7 - Friday 1.3.09 Jayden always sleeps with her baby and a pink blankie with a bunny attached. She always tucks it up by her head and snuggles it.
