When at my brother's gradation several times they said the name Dawn, each time even though Trevor didn't seem to be paying attention he said, "What? Whad you say?" And when there was singing by the choir he was singing loudly. When there was applause from each of the graduates families from various areas of the gymnasium, Trevor responded with woo hoo, alright and even a few yea did it's combined with lot's of applause.
Lately he says most things with lots of attitude. Such as "Jay-din shud up, jeeeeez" and "I NOT... in the mood." We hear don't, stop, and no too many times in a day to count. But he can be a sweety too. Today when he woke up from his nap he came running up to me and wrapped his arms around my legs and said, "awwww mommy" in the sweetest way.
He pointed at my shoulder and said, "airpwane" I was confused for a second then realized that he thought my dragon tattoo was an airplane.
Anything pulling something behind it is a "choo choo" such as the truck pulling a camper next to us at a stop light and even the guy on the bike pulling his kids behind him. That was funny!
The first time I painted my toes this summer he Ooohhh'd and Aaaahhh'd over my toes and got really excited. I asked him, "does mama have pretty toes?" He said "kitty toes? meow meow" From that point forward he always points at my toes when they are bare (which is like a hundred times a day) and says "kitty toes meow meow" The other day when I put on my socks and shoes before work he said, "bye kitty toes, see you soon kitty toes."
The other day we were at the mall sharing pretzel bites in the food court. We were sitting in front of Journeys and he got all excited and pointed into the store and said "Elmo shoes Elmo shoes" I highly doubted he had actually seen elmo shoes in Journeys. Elmo shoes don't really fit the profile of the crowd they cater to. I might at there was a group of hip young twenty-somethings sitting at the table next to us and they found Trevor's comment pretty humorous. So after we were done with the pretzel I asked him to show me the elmo shoes. He pointed out these shoes. Though I don't suppose they are quite Elmo's style, they are the right color.
