2 months old already?!?!?!

How can it be that 2 whole months have passed since my baby girl was born! It is amazing how quickly time flies. Jayden is doing better about not having to be held ALL the time and enjoys looking at her Winnie the Pooh mobile over her pack and play. She grins all the time now and it is super easy to make her smile. All it takes is a stroke of her cheek, enthusiastic baby babble, or even just the sight of her mama first thing in the morning or coming home from work. She's quite the chubby baby and loves to nurse. Though lately she's been fighting me a bit while nursing. I think it is because she prefers the slower flow of the bottle.

She's a chubby little girl. It wasn't long ago I bought the pants she's wearing in these pictures at a yard sale. I remember thinking it would be awhile before she would fit into them. This is the first time she wore them and they are really tight on her. So are most of her 0-3 onsies. Most of her sleepers are too short for her. She's going to be in 3-6 month clothes anyday now!

She is starting to laugh in her sleep now so I know daytime giggles aren't too far away. She is also starting to coo a bit too. Her 2 month checkup is on Tuesday and she'll be getting her shots. We are trying a new pediatrician so hopefully that goes well. We were not satisfied with the clinic affiliated with the hospital. The hospital gets enough of our money anyway. We went to another family practice clinic and don't feel like they know enough about infants. The doctor told us we could give Jayden ibuprofen and then before we left the nurse came back and said she was too young for ibuprofen. Yikes, what would have happened if gave it to her.
